The Board of St Helen's, the leading Ofex Adviser, announces that Barry Hocken and Antony Legge have been appointed to the Board of St Helen's with effect from 7 October 2005.
Barry joined St Helen's in September 2004 as the Chief Operating Officer of the Ofex Division. He joined JP Jenkins Limited in 1993 to establish Newstrack Limited, the news and information service for unlisted companies. This became part of the Ofex market, of which Barry was a co-founder in 1995. He was responsible for the creation of Gateway Registrars and JPJL - an alternative trading facility for unlisted companies.
Antony was with Beeson Gregory initially as a Small Cap Equity Analyst and subsequently in Corporate Finance and Private Equity. After leaving he became Head of Portfolio Management at Imperial College Innovations.
Tony Drury, St Helen's Chairman, said: "BARRY IS THE JEWEL IN OUR OFEX CROWN. HIS EXPERIENCE IN, AND KNOWLEDGE OF, OFEX IS IMPORTANT BUT HIS ABILITY TO ENGENDER CLIENT CONFIDENCE IS INVALUABLE. ANTONY BRINGS AN EXPERTISE WHICH WILL ADD CONSIDERABLY TO OUR SKILL RANGE".
Both these appointments are subject to the approval of the Financial Services Authority.
The Directors of the Issuer accept responsibility for this announcement
